Child Health and Development

Child health and development is a very important aspect that all parents need to have a fair idea about.

It is a fact that an infant cannot say anything before a certain age. Therefore, you must be careful about the health as well as all-round development of your baby especially during this period.

In this article, we would like to concentrate on the important features of the child health development that mark the first six months or so after your baby is born.

It is true that the development of your baby depends mostly on his health. If he is healthy, it will help him cope with the world with ease. He will also be able to pick up things fast. Doctors generally say that you need to take care of your baby's physical health and mental health.

A baby can turn into a well-matured adult if he is physically and mentally strong from childhood. Therefore, you need to take care of your infant. The development of your baby's brain starts when you carry him in the womb. Complete development of the nervous system, hearing system, and vision also takes their due time.

He can also differentiate the tastes of different foods. Child health and development process starts from the day your baby sees the new world. During the first 6 months, your baby responds if someone calls him by his name. He turns his head and eyes as a response to the call. He can differentiate between the voices as well. If the tone of your voice is angry, he can feel it and if it is friendly, he can also sense that accordingly and can differentiate between the two tones.

If you do not take care of your infant, it will be a great risk for him in future. You need to feed him well and you need to keep him clean and dry.

There lies a close interrelation between child health and development and you need to be quite familiar with these. You can ask any doctor for some able assistance if you think that you do not know how to take care of your baby properly.

The mental health of your child depends on your treatment that you offer him. For instance, doctors say that breast milk is ideal for babies and this can provide the appropriate diet to your baby.

When your baby is at of age of 3 to 6 months, you can notice certain changes in him. It is the early stage when your baby tries to cope with the world. He responds to facial expressions and can differentiate a high pitch and a low pitch sound. You need to follow the right child health and development process for your baby.

Slingo Quest Hawaii Review

Graphics: 3 Stars :Average: The graphics for Slingo Quest Hawaii, are on par with the current casual gaming fare. Cutesy pictures of anime type boys and girls dressed in stereotypical Hawaiian garb. The setting is mostly tropical (hence the Hawaii tie in), so it's a little more fun to play on a cold winters day.

Interface: 4 Stars :Good: The game interface is certainly adequate for the task at hand. This is pretty much a very simple game to play, and the designers know their demographic is not the hard core gamer crowd. Basically, if you can point and click you'll have no problem playing the game and navigating around the menus.

Gameplay 3 Stars :Average: This is another variant on the tried and true Slingo, so everyone knows, the game play works. When I say it works, I mean it's both fun and addictive to the right person. Slingo has been around for over ten years, so it will be engaging for anyone who enjoys simple bingo / slots style of gaming

Sound FX: 2 Stars :Below Average: I was a little disappointed with both the music and sound FX here. While Quest Hawaii, is an obvious rehashing of a tried and true game, with a new shiny coat of paint, I would have hoped the designers would have allocated a little more budget to sounds. I'm quite sure many of the sounds I heard were the same old sounds from Slingo Deluxe, and Slingo Quest (the original quest).

Music: 2 Stars :Below Average: As I alluded to in the Sound FX category, the music here is pretty forgettable. I strongly suggest putting your iPod on speakers mode, and turning down the sound FX to a minimum. At least the designers had the common sense to separate out the two options so "iPod mode" was a player option.

Intelligence: 3 Stars :Average: Well, this is just a shinier, prettier version of Slingo Quest, and we all know what that means. The intelligence of your enemies is about the same as it was 10 years ago, when the game first came out. The Slingo aficionados in the crowd won't mind as it's what they expect.

Difficulty: 3 Stars :Average: It's as difficult, as you want it to be. For the true addicts in the crown, the real difficulty will be walking away from the game. Slingo has its appeal, and it's fan base, and you know who you are. For the rest of us, it's not really that difficult to beat, but it does feel a little random. Not to impose new generation values on an older game, but the difficulty doesn't always seem to coincide with the skill of the player.

Overall: 3 Stars "Average: There should probably be two overall ratings here. A five star rating for the Slingo-Fan-Boys-&-Girls in the audience, and a three star review for the rest of us. I went for an official 3 star rating, as that's how Slingo compares to the majority of games on the market today. Given the plethora of free Slingo demos around, it won't cost you anything besides about 15 minutes of your time, and a little download bandwidth, to find out if Slingo Quest Hawaii is the game for you.

Increase Blogging Traffic - 3 Foolproof Tips to Skyrocket Your Blog's Traffic

Blogging is fun and for some - a profit generating hobby. But because there are a lot of bloggers out there, the competition is stiff. There are a lot of ways to improve the traffic of your blog. Some are complicated and need a lot of work. Here are simple tips that even the beginners can apply to increase their website traffic:

Tip#1: This is the simplest way of advertising -- include your blog's URL in the signature for various forums that you write in and also in your emails. Send all your friends emails and invites to inform them about your blog - ask them to pass the message to their friend circle or network. This is networking at its simplest. The more emails sent, the more traffic you will generate for your blog.

Tip#2: Submit an article to ezines. By writing articles on any product or service you are trying to sell or even for directing visitors to your blog, you can definitely get more exposure and visibility. You can add your blog link in a resource box created at the end of the body content of each article. You must then choose popular or top submission websites that have higher page ranks and submit your articles there.

Tip#3: Submit a story to Netscape to generate more viewers of your article. It works the same with a submission website; you can display your link in the resource box at the end of your article that will direct the reader or visitor to your blog. You can only add one URL per blog page though, so if you want to submit more stories, you have to create more pages on your blog.
